- Research & Development 5 - Unis. - A500 Abertay, Glasgow,
- Industry A700 (3) Aberdeen.
SOS eagerly await the outcome of the recent, and most welcome, SEPA consultation
on “Better Waste Regulation. This is particularly so with respect to:
- the ability of small-scale composting sites to treat all catering waste
under an exemption,
- a liberation for such sites from the exigencies of PAS 100 when selling
products back into the local community,
- the acceptance of non-PAS 100 products for restricted use, and
- a merging of the Waste Management Licensing and Animal By-Product compliance
and monitoring inspection requirements .
